This is a poem that Pegasus may have written to Cecilia, had he been a poet. (Yes, I know that some parts don't seem to go with Pegasus's character, but I had something else in mind when I started this and was too lazy to change it) The first part might have been written to Cecilia while she was still alive, the second part after her death.
Had Pegasus looked over the entire poem, there might have been no need for Yami Bakura to show him the card that represented his past...

Pegasus's Poem

Heaven dances in your eyes, my love
Always I see this haven above
Perfect is this beautiful place
Perfect as the flower that is your face
You presence lifts me; we shall fly
Love, to dance the starry sky
Ours for the taking, each clear drop of morn
Veil of darkness shall swift be torn
Ever, my dear, my love will be true
Return that love is all I wish of you
Cecilia, I'm not happier than with you at my side
All beauty, Heav'n and Earth, I find in your eyes
Revealed, all I am, it is yours to see,
Destiny's kindest act was to lead you to me.

Undeniable was our love, my dear
Perhaps fate's cruel recipe need a tear
Something like this must have been formed
In shade's darkest depths; of a twisted wish born
Darkness of perverse fate forced us part
Ever sweet mem'ries tear my heart
Death destroyed all I hoped, I dreamed
Oh, my love, all that once gleamed
Why tore Destiny you from me?
Now, at all cost, I will restore thee.

Did you find it? His past? It's in there.

Here's a hint: it has to do with the first letter of each line.

See? There IS a method to the madness!
