Voldemort was furious when the supposedly dead Harry Potter leapt out of Hagrid's arms and vanished beneath his invisibility cloak. He thought he'd finished him this time. Not that it mattered though, he still had his army of Death Eaters and together they would take control of Hogwarts.

"You can thwart me all you want Potter, but it won't save your friends," the dark lord threatened. Chuckles of agreement rose up from his army.

Harry however was feeling rather bold after once again surviving the killing curse. So bold in fact, that he had the strongest urge to do something he'd been dying to try since his trip through Dumbledore's memories.

Might as well if we're all going to die anyway, he thought.

Before the battle could resume, Harry moved to stand on top of a broken pillar and whipped off the cloak.

"Oi Death Eaters, Voldemort's parents were a muggle and a squib!"

Gasps rang out from both sides of the courtyard. Unfortunately for Voldemort, his shocked face gave away the fact that Harry hadn't lied.

Order members and Hogwarts students alike watched in shock as several enraged Death Eaters cast the killing curse at their false prophet. Voldemort of course fell dead, his horcruxes all destroyed.

The Order drew their wands to finish the battle, but what happened next was even more unexpected.

"I can't believe I was in love with someone who was practically a mudblood," Bellatrix said in disgust.

Her husband Rodolphus rounded on her.

"What, 'in love with?' You unfaithful hag. AVADA KEDAVA!"

Bellatrix fell over dead.

"THAT WAS MY SISTER, YOU MONGREL!" Narcissa Malfoy shouted, casting avada kedava at Rolphus.

Rebastian Lestrange jumped in to avenge his brother and was almost immediately taken out by Lucius Malfoy. Soon it became a blur of unforgivables. Minutes later, the Order and Hogwarts students were staring at a pile of bodies that had once been Voldemort's army.

"Wow," Harry said, trying to comprehend what had just happened, "I guess someone should've done that a long time ago. Well, I'm going up to Gryffindor tower for a nap. See you all later."

He was gone, leaving behind a gobsmacked crowd. Hermione was one of the first to move, reaching down into her expandable bag to search for a tissue. She frowned as her hand felt something strange.

"Oh," she said, pulling out the time turner from third year, "I thought I gave this back to McGonagal."

A delighted George Weasley reached for it. "Mind if I borrow this?" he asked. "I'm just going to go back an hour and pull Fred out of the way of that wall that fell on him."

Hermione gladly handed it over.

"Wait I'm coming too," Ron said, "I can save Remus and Tonks while you go after Fred."

Hermione joined them in placing a hand on the time turner. "Wait up, I might as well go warn Snape not to meet with Voldemort," she said.

Ron and George nodded.

"Ok, but then we have to come back here because I need to see that again," Ron said gesturing at the Death Eater pile.
