Well, it's been forever since I've written an oneshot, but I can try my best! So, here's a little Halloween present! Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the story. Thank you.
Footsteps crunching on dried leaves echoed throughout the abandoned park in Domino City. A figure softly made its way through the park, dead trees covering the path. The moon shown above in the sky, lighting the way. Only the silhouette of the figure could be seen, the light from the moon not very bright. A howl broke through the silence, startling the figure for only a brief moment. Turning back towards the path, it continued onward, looking down at a note in its hand.
"Come to Domino Park at midnight. Make sure you're alone." The figure had found the note on its desk at school. Since it was Halloween, it figured it wouldn't hurt. Must be one of its friends playing a prank on this person. The figure stopped, seeing another figure standing in front of it. The first stranger couldn't see who the figure was, but could make out some features. Long white hair, two strands poked up like devil horns. Brown eyes stared hard, narrowing at the first.
"So, why did you call me out her, Bakura?" the first figure asked the second. Bakura stepped forward, fumbling for something in his pocket. "Why did you want me here alone?"
"You foolish girl…" Bakura sneered, stepping closer to the first figure. "You really get on my nerves. Your friendship speeches, your cheerful attitude. It makes me sick. No wonder my light enjoys hanging out with your little 'group'. Well, now I'll end it, right here, right now…" Something gleamed in his right hand while the girl stepped backward, leaves crunching beneath their feet. Suddenly, the girl found herself on the ground, another figure jumping in front of her. Punches and kicks filled the air while the girl covered her face. Painful gasping covered the sounds, which made the girl look up. Bakura doubled over in pain, an object poking out from his stomach. Blood dripped off the object, which turned out to be a knife. Her savior in front of her turned towards her, revealing its face.
"Pharaoh…" she whispered, embracing the figure in front of her. "Why did you-?" She felt the Pharaoh place a finger onto her lips, silencing her.
"Be glad you're alright, Tea. I'm just glad you weren't hurt by Bakura."
Was it a good oneshot? I hope I did well, despite me not writing anything for a while…
Review please and happy Halloween!
