It is 2 hours after the final battle and the minister is trying to have harry arrested and take his money but harry has 1 day till he turns 17 so he needs to go to gringots to listen to his parents will and Sirius will and the founders will and move his money to a muggle bank before he gets banned from Britain.
So he makes his way to gringots and the goblin raknok takes him to the conference room where he sits down and reads the letter from his parents first from his mother.
