After retrieving the Light Stone, the president girl went home with it and enjoyed its company. And was it almost Valentine's Day?

"I've found you, Black."
She found him, finally. Even though it wasn't really Black in human shape, she could feel his presence inside the stone. White couldn't explain how she was feeling her best friend's existence, nor could she tell exactly if he was even alive or the same, she just felt it. It was a special bond between them that White shared with no one else, even with her best relatives.
She gently cradled the stone in her arms and brought it home with her. No one could take Black from her again. She swore if anyone ever dared to threaten her friend, she would make that person suffer the same amount she had suffered in the last two years. Before anyone, or she herself, could figure out how to release him from the stone, it belonged to her.
It was night time already, and White didn't want to have dinner. She just wanted to go back to the hotel. She carefully placed the stone on her desk and turned on her laptop. Then she went to the bathroom and took a shower.
For the first time in a while, White wasn't feeling very lonely. Although the situation was improved, she did understand that it wasn't very different from before. However, she couldn't help telling herself that he was being with her. White slowly open her bathroom door and stepped outside, imagining Black was sitting at her desk and waiting for his boss to join him. He would greet her with his usual grin…
But no one was there…
Silly! White thought. But she smiled and sat down. She placed the stone next to the laptop and opened her work folders while whispering to herself,
"It seems like I'm spending another night with this again. But this time I have you."
She put on another smile and started working until she collapsed on her desk at some point after midnight.
Beep… beep… beep…
That annoying sound! White slowly opened her eyes and found that it was already 7:00 in the morning. Wait, when did I set the alarm clock? Do I even have an alarm clock? She shook her head to regain more consciousness and realized it was her Xtransceiver beeping. And someone was calling.
"Hi…" White answered with her half-asleep voice.
"Oh, hi White! I'm calling to… oops, are you still sleeping? I'm sorry." Bianca, as usual, was unthinking before she could realize it.
"Ah… it's fine, I should have woken up earlier, so… thank you…"
"Ummm... I just want to check on you a little bit. Are you ok, White?"
"Aww thanks, Bianca. I'm still good," White smiled at Bianca so that the latter could see that there wasn't any problem with her.
"How is he?" Bianca asked timidly.
It took White a few seconds to figure out what Bianca was talking about. Then she looked to her left and spotted the Light Stone still being there on her desk.
"Same," she replied. Then she grabbed it and showed it to Bianca through the Xtransceiver.
"Oh, cool! So everything's fine, right? If you need anything, just call me, or Cheren, or the professor, ok?"
"I will. Thanks."
And they hanged up. White sighed a little at the thought that she was a bit annoyed when other people might not be pleased if she kept the stone for herself.
Come on, don't be so selfish! They are his childhood friends… They deserve to know more about his current state… I need to be more open to them! White thought. Then she stood up and stretched. Her whole body ached badly due to the uncomfortable sleeping position, but she managed to go to the bathroom and freshened up. Then she packed her things up and was about to go for breakfast.
White hesitated a bit before she put the Light Stone into her bag.
You're going with me…
So today is Valentine's Day? I really forget about the date… But, jeez, it's just another day at the office…
White told herself as she sat in an eatery and looked around the place. There were heart-shape decorations, flowers and floating Luvdiscs everywhere. The Luvdiscs would blow pink bubbles at the face of every couple they could see.
One single Luvdisc approached her from above and blew a large amount of bubbles at White's face that startled her. She simply shooed it away.
White unconsciously grabbed the Light Stone and caressed it with her hand. Maybe, just maybe, that Luvdisc sensed something, or else it could have chosen another couple.
And with that thought in mind, she finished her breakfast and headed to the Pokéstar Studio with a smile in her heart.
