Ashe looked in the mirror of her room at the white armored gown and the veil she wore. After getting ready all day she doubted that she was ready to be getting married but every time she saw Rasler all that faded away and only joy filled her heart. There was just something about him that was so strong and she felt that with him she could concern the world. Ashe sighed and sat on her bed looking out the window at her beloved Dalmasca. Rasler was from the sister kingdom of Nabradia and sometimes she wondered if her father approved the marriage because of that. None the less they had fallen in love and finally the day when they would together forever had come. Ashe couldn't help but let a smile dance on her lips as she thought about it. This was the day that many girls dreamed of when they were little. What girl didn't dream of prince charming coming and asking for her hand in marriage and living happily ever after? Though happily ever after might have to wait with the war budding at the Nabradia border. Ashe waved her hand in front of her face as if batting those thoughts away. Why should she be thinking of such bad things on such a happy day?

Ashe turned to leave when she saw Rasler standing in the doorway watching her. "You seem nervous." Rasler stepped closer to her and held out his hand.

For the life of her she hated Rasler's cool demeanor and charm. "Nervous wouldn't be the word I would use."

"How about excited?" Rasler teased as he took her hand and led the way towards the open carriage waiting to present the happy couple to Dalmasca.

Ashe watched Rasler walk in his full suit of white gold armor. He seemed like a true warrior and he was so much stronger then she could ever be. She stepped in first in onto the platform and Rasler joined in by her side. That was when the horns announced the couple the chocobos that were dragging the carriage started their march. Rasler grabbed Ashe's hand to keep her from falling at the sudden jolt. She couldn't help but squeeze his hand as the white petals fell from the sky around them. Looking around Ashe was a little surprised by all the people who had turned out to see the couple but tired not to show it. All she could do was look over at Rasler who was waving to the crowd. He caught her eye and gave her a weak smile. Ashe smiled back and wondered if he was as nervous as she was but as he looked towards the church his smile grew and Ashe felt her heart jump with joy. It was really happening; it was not a dream any longer.

"In the name of the Father and in the presence of these holy relics I hereby pronounce you man and wife from this time forth." The Minster stated but Ashe was hardly paying attention. She could not help but be drawn by the warm in Rasler's eyes and his smile was to die for. Even though she was so nervous he seemed just be happy to be standing before her in this place. "May the blessings of the gods light your path for all eternity." Rasler started to slow more closer to Ashe as he held both of her hands. "Faram." It was then the moment that Ashe had been waiting for, Rasler leaned close to her and kisses her lips tenderly and lovingly. She could not help but close her eyes as her heart beat faster then ever before. He kisses always killed her and this kiss was no exception.
