Sit Tight.

Rex hovered over the city. The effects of the city wide slumber party had been keeping him busy. Already he had prevented four separate cars from careening off the road.

He was heading over to the elementary school to make sure things were okay over there. The shortest route to the school was to cut through the park. He was making it through the basketball court when he spotted a familiar blond head.

"Noah!" Rex immediately descended, landing next to his best friend. Noah was lying on his stomach, his arms wrapped around his basketball as he turned it into the world's most uncomfortable pillow. "Oh man, I wish I had a camera right now." Rex chuckled and looked around before taking out his phone and snapping a quick photo of Noah passed out on the court.

"Why have you stopped?" White Knight barked in Rex's ear. "The school isn't for another three miles."

Rex was so startled he almost dropped his phone. "Sir, it's Noah. He-"

"I don't care. Get to the school. Now."

Rex made a face. He didn't want to leave Noah out here in the sun. "But sir, he's going to get heat stroke. Please, give me a few minutes. I can get him out of here. Let me take him home first." Rex pleaded, kneeing down next to his friend. He cringed when White knight's gruff voice pierced in his ear.

"No, stay on mission. Nixon's a tough lad. He'll be fine once this is all over. Six year olds on the other hand…"

Leave it White to pour on the guilt trip, Rex thought bitterly and pocketing his phone. Even when he's right. "Right, okay. I'm heading out." Rex huffed. He turned off his ear piece and turned back to Noah. He didn't want White screaming in his head while he took a few seconds to veer of course and pulled Noah out of the sun. He plucked Noah up from the court and planted him on a nearby park bench. There was an oak tree overhead, providing some helpful shade.

"Sit tight, Noe," Rex told the slumbering teen. He placed his hand on Noah's bright yellow head. "I'll come back for you." He promised and built his hover-copter and braced himself as he once again took flight.
