The North Wind And The Sun
In the story The North Wind and The Sun, the wind fairy and the sun fairy try to make the human traveler take off his coat and in the end, the sun fairy wins. Every time Salt heard this story, his father would proudly ascend his chest up and put his hand on it. He would then say that this story show what sun fairies really were: Strong fairies.
In his opinion, it really didn't.
While it was true that the sun fairy beat the wind fairy by making the sun shine stronger and brighter. It merely just proved that the sun fairy won the challenge.
Needless to say it didn't meant that the sun fairy was strong.
It was stupid story. That all it was. A story that was just about two fairies going all out on each other in some challenge.
So he finds it kind a ironic that Pepper, his wind fairy friend actually loves the story. He couldn't get how she would enjoy a story that shows the wind fairy losing. He didn't get it until she told him.
"I don't think the wind fairy had no intending of winning. The wind fairy realized that the traveler was holding a gift he made for someone and wanted to make sure that the traveler didn't lose it. So he made the wind very harsh and cruel."
Never once had he heard that the traveler had a gift with him nor he was trying to give it to someone in the story. Maybe because the wind and sun fairies tell it differently or maybe that's how Pepper sees it. Either way, it was quite weird yet it was better than hearing the story was some sort of proof that sun fairies were just strong.

Oh yes, that was so much better hearing they were strong.
