Backstage Pass
'They call it 'surfing' the net. It's not surfing. It's typing in your bedroom.'
Ron sent the tweet out and scrolled through his timeline. The clock in corner of his eye made him debate sleep. Then, he grinned in delight. Highest Trending: #HarryPotterBreakUp.
Harry was the most gorgeous, queerest actors on the West End - and now he was single. He had always been an outcast, part of the reason Ron fancied him. It was sad, of course, that his ex-boyfriend Draco had betrayed him. But Ron didn't really care.
'Let me make a suggestion, my little disco queen. Take a walk.'
Ron's jaw dropped as he saw Draco's tweet. Was it true rivalry between them or a media stunt, attention seeking? Feeling reckless, he found a good selfie and tweeted it to Harry 'Date Me' #gingersdoitbetter.
'Really? Why didn't you tell me sooner?' his best friend Seamus retweeted with an eggplant emoji. It got a fair amount of traffic then Ron's heart stopped as he saw that Harry himself had replied.
'Okay. I'll send you a backstage pass and we can meet up. DM me.'
His phone started to ring immediately Ron ended the call, quickly typing back to Harry a private message explaining that he was joking. He didn't even expect Harry to reply, never mind talk to him for five hours into the night.
Later the next day, Ron opened his door to a delivery of roses. With them was a backstage pass.
IT'S HAPPENING! #goals
Who are you? Not Ron, this guy is much too smooth. Tell me everything you luck sod!
Seamus text back.
I promise #RWHP5eva
Harry was even prettier in person. It was the best night of Ron's life and when they kissed, Ron decided to not post it online. This was his moment.
