Ya know what? I've wrote and rewritten this concept so many times that it's become a chore. This is all your going to get because I've spent way too long on a concept that I've clearly beaten to death just on my own.
It was a lazy day around Pallet Town, and one teen was taking advantage of the calmness of the day to nap on the porch swing of her home. One Ashlyn "Ash" Ketchum was laying on the porch swing, a pillow providing head support. The teen herself had one leg on the swing and the other was off of the side. Her leg that was off of the swing was covered in scars, from an attack by a wild pokemon.
The leg on the swing was an artificial one. That was caused by the attack. It had been six years ago, when she was nine years old.
Ash and her mother had been coming back from a picnic at a town park, which served as a place of play for both humans and pokemon alike. On their way back home, Ash had heard strange noises coming from behind them. Soon, there was the screech of a pokemon and Ash felt weight on her.
She quickly looked up and focused on a large gray beetle with savage eyes. Then, the pain came. The sharp teeth sinking into her leg, tearing the flesh and going through the bone. She screamed and tried to fight the bug off of her. A large branch whacked against the bug, forcing it to pull back. And it pulled back. It's teeth had sank so far into Ash's leg that a large snap was heard, followed by Ash's scream.
"Ash, sweetie." Delia knelt down next to her screaming daughter, who clung to her as she was pulled close.
The angered chatter of the pokemon caught Delia's attention now. That was the only warning it gave her before it lunged to strike again as Delia curled around Ash to protect her, as she didn't have time to grab the stick again.
"Charizard, Flame Thrower!" A large plum of fire shot past Delia and struck the bug. It stood back up and grabbed Ash's leg before it turned around and ran back into the forest.
Delia looked up to see her old friend and former mentor, Sam Oak, standing beside his elderly Charizard. "Oh Sam, thank goodness you got here in time.."
Sam looked slightly relieved that no further harm came to them, he returned Charizard. "We have to hurry." He enlarged another pokeball and threw it up, it popped open to reveal Sam's Zam, an Alakazam. "Zam, teleport to Viridian."
Delia cluched Ash as a psychic energy surrounded them courtesy of Zam. There was a flash of light and they were in front of the hospital.
Everything afer that was a blur for Delia, all she remembered was trying not to be seperated from Ash. "Ash! ASH!"
Ash's eyes shot open as she fell off of the porch swing, onto her side. "Ow..." She murmured, sitting up.
"Chikori!" Her therapy Pokemon Chikorita rushed over to her, worried.
"I'm okay, Leafy." Ash said to her female pokemon, petting her head as the pokemon snuggled close. Ash looked up at her mother. "Do you think Gary's package got here? He promised me a Seel."
And that's all I wrote.
