I am reposting this series of drabbles as I am working to tweak and improve my other stories. There are also several errors in my drabbles that I am trying to fix as well. I hope you all enjoy and each one of these drabbles makes you smile even if its just a little.

Girls in the game

She sat on the bench as usual. The boys were practicing and calling one another names nitpicking during practice as they always did. She was leaning forward on one of her arms in boredom. She wanted to participate, but the one time she had mentioned it Tyson had laughed in her face. None of them took her seriously at all. Yet right before her eyes was a girl talking to the boys and trash talking with them as well.

"Stupid Julia." Hilary thought as she watched the two toned girl lean an arm on Kai's shoulder.

She raised an eyebrow at the motion and smirked knowing what would happen next. However the Russian didn't shrug her off. His crimson eyes glared at her and then he went back to adjusting Dranzer again. Heh if she ever tried that he would have shrugged her off. Then again any time she tried to get close to Kai that stupid pig Tyson jumped in the way. Her brown eyes averted to the side door as it opened and Mariah entered with Emily by her side.

There were way too many girls in the game. She felt like more of a cheer leader half of the time rather than a manager. It was aggravating. She honestly felt as though she didn't belong here with them and had been tempted on several occasions to just pack up and leave.

Without realizing it she had begun to stare off deep in thought. It didn't last long though because her attention was drawn to the shifting of weight on the bench where she sat. She blinked her brown eyes rapidly while turning her head. Surprise and a strange warmth consumed her as she saw the bluenette Russian was sitting next to her leaned back with his muscular arms stretched across the back of the bench. He crossed his legs in a masculine way and sat there silently as was his usual persona.

"Are you done for the day?" she asked him

"No. I got tired of all the yakking." he grumbled. "I'm glad you don't blade and get in the way like they do."

Her brown eyes widened and then she quickly looked away to hide her grin, before looking back at the others as they began to argue over something ridiculous. Perhaps her presence wasn't so bad after all, she could deal with being just a team manager.

Hope you all enjoyed this first rewrite. Have a great day!
