Lily was expecting to wake up or something like that, but it didn't happen. Anyway she didn't move a muscle until Hugo pokes her in the ribs.
The little brown eyed girl with her long red hair in a ponytail walked in hurried steps to where the old hat, that she personally though was a little repugnant, was.
As she sat the professor blinded her putting the hat in her head. She didn't scare as the hat spoke "Another Potter, how exciting" nothing was exciting in his way of talking "How exciting" it repeated, this time it looked really excited "you are different, your family is full of heroes, but you aren't one of the heroes. You look like you father, but at the same time sound like you mother, but still don't look forward to be any of them, how curious… Oh, you would be a great Ravenclaw".
Lily rolled her eyes, she knew this game like her hand, the hat would threaten to put her in every house besides Gryffindor and like in the dramatic end of a romance novel she would end up with her family. After all her dad said to her that the hat would only put her where she wanted and she really wanted to be a Gryffindor.
The hat talked again "The problem here little Potter is that you don't really want to". She felt a part o fabric touching her forehead and tried to move it, nothing happened.
"SLYTHERIN" yelled the hat and she was really scared.
To Lily no claps or gratifications, only silence and stares. She looked for her older brothers in Gryffindor table as she walked to hers. It was not hard to find James and Albus, James looked sick, like he was going to throw up and Albus tried to smile at her, he couldn't smile, he wasn't happy and Lily knew it.
As she sat the gossip started, some looked like true and kind to her, the other ones, almost every single one of them were mean, as always.
This time Lily was wrong. Everyone was wrong about her.
