1 It was a cool evening in the pride lands. It was like every other only this night was special. Zebras, elephants, giraffes, and many more animals were gathered around pride rock. The lion king Simba and his mate Nala were looking down on everyone. In the background Rafika a strange but loyal baboon and a baby cub were getting ready. Rafiki split open a melon and put the juice on the cub who was soon to be prince Kopa. He brought the cub forward and held him up to the sky. The clouds opened and Mufassa Simba's father appeared smiling for a quick second then disappeared. All the animals cheered as loud as they could. When the ceremony was done Kopa was given back to his parents. They walked over to Timon and Pumbaa. Timon and Pumbaa were Simba's best and closest friends. Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog were in tears. "You've done good buddy you've done good." Timon managed to say through his sobs. A few weeks later in a place not so far away two more cubs were born. They are twins Vitani the girl and Kovu the boy. In the next weeks that followed the cubs were taught different things, Vitani and Kovu started to learn how to fight and about their enemy Simba. Kopa was taught how the pride lands are run and about the great kings of the past
