I was rewatching the sleeping curse episode (6x07) and I realized that maybe someone else can break the curse. This is overwhelmingly fluffy and probably not written very well, because I decided to write this immediately after my realization. Enjoy!

P.S. I do not own Once Upon a Time

There's a lot to process at once. You've just arrived back from that wish world, and the men in your life are all clinging to you. Apparently, Gold and Belle's son is the figure under the hood. Oh, and you discover that your dad has barely slept since you left, because he didn't want your mom to know you were gone, and now he looks like he's about to collapse.

But back to the main matter at hand: Gideon/Morpheus is your enemy, and you have to discover both why he wants to kill you and how you can protect yourself. Belle is obviously distraught about this turn of events, because it might come to down to you or her son.

"I know, I know that he might be evil, or at least that he wants to kill Emma," she says quietly. "But he's still my son. I love him. And he loves me! He loves me so much that his kiss broke my sleeping curse."

Killian puts a hand on Belle's shaking shoulder while you stare at her. Could it be?

"He broke your sleeping curse by kissing you. He broke your sleeping curse by kissing you," you breathe. "Your son's love for you was enough to break your sleeping curse."

Everyone looks up at you, somewhat confused and concerned. Ignoring calls of "Mom?" and "Emma, wait!" you rush out of Granny's, yelling, "I figured it out! I know what to do!" and run as fast as you can to your parents' apartment.

Gideon/Morpheus broke his mother's sleeping curse by kissing her, in a dream. And you already knew that true love's kiss is not just from a soulmate, because you broke Henry's sleeping curse by kissing him. And you know from your daily interactions with your parents and with your son that the bond between parent and child is just as strong as or even stronger than the bond between two loves. True love's kiss can come from a child. How did you forget that?

You race into the room and hurry to your mom, who is sleeping peacefully, although hopefully she'll be awake in a minute. You bend down and, thinking of how much you love both of your parents, kiss her forehead. You see and feel that colorful whoosh that comes with a curse being broken, and your mom opens her eyes. Just as you throw her arms around her, you hear your dad race into the room behind you.

"Snow? You're awake? But…" your father stammers. You start to tear up as you turn around and move slightly away so that your parents can finally be together.

"I broke the curse, Dad," you reply. "True love's kiss can come from a parent or child. I love you both, so I could wake you up. I just didn't realize it until now." Your parents are crying by this point, with their arms around each other, but when you try to leave so they can be alone, your dad tugs you back and wraps one arm around you, kissing your forehead and cupping the back of your head, the way he always does. You can hear them murmuring their thanks as all three of you hug with relief.

You broke the curse. You used the true love you and your parents share, the cycle Killian reminded you about weeks ago. Whatever happens with Morpheus, you know that you have the strength and the love necessary to prepare for the fight.

Thanks for reading! I have no idea if this is what's actually going to happen, but it's my plan until the showrunners prove me wrong in March.
