A/N: Alright, so this is the first FanFic I ever wrote. I know it's short and pretty lame but I was in the mood to post something, so hopefully someone will enjoy it.

Warnings: Akuroku and some pretty large amounts of fluff at the end.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters mentioned. They all belong to Square Enix and Disney.

On to the story...

.:Crescendo:.

I walked out on to the now lone stage. The only light the spotlight over the piano. I knew I was being watched but I just kept going. I could hear the inaudible breathes of the audience, the almost silent sound my shoes made with every step. The quite hum of the air conditioner running to keep the building cool. It was all like a song playing through my head. I sat down at the piano and for a few moments stayed still, just listening to the natural music around me. Then I lifted my hands to the keys and began to play. I didn't know what I was playing... I just played.

The song was slow at first, almost sad. Then my fingers sped up playing notes and chords in fast progression. The song growing louder and louder with every moment that past. My fingers kept easily flitting over the keys, falling were they may. My eyes were closed. I was so absorbed in listening to the music that seemed to fill my every thought.

The song slowed again, becoming a peaceful, yet somber filled tune. It was coming to an end. It couldn't last forever. Though at that moment I wish I could have stayed in my world of beautiful notes and chords. No cares, worries. Just the sounds to keep me company. But I knew there was a reason it couldn't be that way. With a few last notes my hands descended from the ivory keys and found their place, resting on my lap. After a few moments of silence the room was filled with cheers and clapping. I couldn't help but wonder - were they applauding the music or the musician. I hoped for the former but suspected it to be the latter. I stood from my place under the bright, hot spotlight, my eyes finally opening. My mood not as bright as it had been while playing. I bowed courteously to the still admiring audience and began my walk off stage.

Once off stage my eyes automatically began to search. After a few moments they finally spotted the bright blond hair they were searching for. Then my legs were moving, walking fast yet gracefully towards their target. "Axel!" My fire red hair easily noticed in the backstage crowed, not to mention my height. The blond headed boy I was looking for came rushing towards me, a brilliant smile plastered on his face.

I now found myself staring into the most beautiful cerulean blue eyes. Eyes that seemed to hold so many deep emotions. Eyes that seemed as though they could peer right through your soul. "Axel, that song was so beautiful. The audience must have loved it. It was like it was alive. Sad and quite, but then it grew like it was trying to be free and then fading off as it did so."

I smiled at that. He wasn't trying to complement me; no he was trying to give the song a perspective.

"Thanks Roxy."

"You now I don't like to be called that," He said pouting slightly. Just looking at his many expressions and the way he seemed to shine started the music in my thoughts again. "So Axel, what's it called?"

"Hmm?" I was listening to a song I never wanted to end.

"The song, what's it called?"

I had to think. I had just gone and played. I hadn't thought about what. I just let my fingers touch the heavy keys and play what they wanted.

"It's called Crescendo." I was given that brilliant smile to my response.
