Eve walked into the kitchen to find her mother sitting at the table, her head in her hands, cautiously she approached her mother.
"Hey, mother?" she asked.
Selene looked up, "what is it, Eve?" the vampiress asked.
"I just wanted to apologize for my attitude, it was wrong of me to lash out at you yesterday" Eve said.
Selene gave a weak smile, "that's alright Eve, I shouldn't have pushed you to tell me what was wrong, normally, i'm not the forgiving type, but I can make an exception for family". Selene hugged her daughter.
"I'm not like Viktor, who gave up on his daughter". She said.
"Who's Viktor?"
"Well, his daughter fell in love with a lycan, not long before I was turned, he found out, and it was later found out that she got pregnant, so he had her sentenced to death, Lucian escaped, and that winter, Viktor killed my family, because they knew the location of William's prison, he was the first werewolf. He spared me because I looked like Sonja, his daughter, I found out about thirteen years ago, and I killed him, your father and I have been on the run ever since". The vampiress explains.
"Who could kill their own child?" she asked.
Selene shrugged, "I don't know, i've asked my self that ever since". She said.
