ICarly: Enchanted Knights

The skies were dark with the sense of dread looming inside them. The village was silent, and its citizens laying awake in their beds, frozen in fear.

Inside the Castle of Seattle, the Knights of Seattle were preparing to do battle with the dread dragon, Malchior, just as their ancestors had done, and their ancestors before them. The young men's hearts beat rapidly with their hidden fears about the war to come. Should they fail, their village would perish. However, if they managed to repel, or even kill Malchior, they would go down in legend as heroes, and receive eternal glory in the hearts of their descendants.

The village watchmen saw a shadow form over the full moon, and realized it was the dragon. "Knights, to war!" he screamed.

In response, the Knights charged out of the castle, and declared a battle. The dread dragon roared at its challengers, and flew towards them like the winds of a hurricane. The knights deployed their swords, shields, bows, and arrows.

The archers were the first to counter-attack, launching hundreds of arrows at the beast's heart. However, the weapons bounced right off Malchior's scaly stomach. The dragon belched out fire at the Knights. Several of the men blocked the attack with their shields, but many were burned despite of the steel guards.

"Onward!" screamed Sir Lewbert The Second, pointing his blade at the dread dragon, and leading the Knights towards the beast.

From the safety of their stone and straw homes, Carly of Shay, Samantha of Puckett, and Fredward of Benson watched the war rage on.

"Pure horror," Carly silently exclaimed, feeling for the men battling for the village.

"It would be best to look away," advised Spencer of Shay, the village painter.

With a heavy heart, Carly of Shay looked away from the battle, and walked into the bedroom, too afraid to sleep.

In the end, the Knights of Seattle repulsed the dread dragon, and sent him back into the dark cave from which he came. The villagers left their homes and rejoiced for their protectors. In honor of the brave men's victory, the king ordered a feast for the following day.

The village had been saved, and goodness had won the day yet again. With this comforting thought in her mind, Carly lay down on her bed, and drifted into a peaceful sleep, something she hadn't experienced for many nights.
