Manon looks over at the princess kneeling on the floor with mist coiling around her; obscuring what she was looking at on the floor. There is no exit in sight, She had thought they would just be teleported outside the mirror not have to find a bloody way out.

"There's no time left" Aelin stated harshly. She looked so tired, and not just because she was drained of almost all her magic, but because she had been pushed into a corner by Maeve and having the confirmation that she will die dropped on her lap at the same time. Manon who had been giving the princess space to have her moment stepped closer in order to tell her to get her shit together before she saw Aelin was actually drawing markings like was at the ruins on the floor in blood. "What are you doing?" Manon asks cautiously looking between the symbol and the eerily calm person drawing it. "I forgot my colouring book at home so I'm improvising" Aelin said while smirking, yet without its usual edge. "This isn't a game!" Manon snarls trying to pull both of them away from the weird symbol, Aelin just shrugs her off and walks right back "I'm doing what we need to, we have run out of time so I'm just going back to the beginning"

The blood drains from Manon's face "you don't mean…"

"Yes" Aelin replies while returning to the symbol that Manon realizes is what the princess' court calls a wrydmark. "We are going back to before the attack on Terrason took place, if I have done this correctly we should be around 3 years before it happened".

Being yanked backwards Aelin is met with claws grabbing her shirt and a furious witch in her face. "You can't be serious" Manon whispers, a huge contrast between her voice and fully exposed teeth and nails. "You know you can't mess with that, you will overwrite everything."

Aelin just replied with "I know that's the point" her expression never changing, it was like she had lost hope in this timeline and retreated back into her cold shell. The one that allowed her to do horrible things in the name of survival. There was just one difference. This time, she wanted to essentially kill the people in this time and replace them with all their old counterparts along with all the people who had died in the past 11 years.

Manon knew she wouldn't be able to change her mind so she let Aelin continue. Another reason could be because she felt like this timeline was damned anyway. As the minutes ticked by Manon could only think to herself "don't worry, that times you will make the same decision even in a different set of circumstances". Even though she knew it was very uncertain.

"It is done" Aelin stated standing from her spot on the floor. Both princess' stood in front of the portal, looked at each other, then stepped into another possibly suicidal plan.
