Author's Note: Hey there fanfiction-ers! I have a new idea for you, and my first Percy Jackson fic! *imaginary audience cheers* So, tell me if you like it, and I might add more!
Disclaimer: Do you honestly believe a teenager owns Percy Jackson? No, I didn't think so.
"Princess, your parents wish to see you." Annabeth groaned and rolled over. "Five more minutes." "Princess, please wake up!" Annabeth opened her eyes a centimeter to see a maid staring down at her. "Ugh, where's Thalia?" "Miss Thalia is at her home. She has the day off. I am Isa." "Fine. Have Marcus tell my dear parents I'll be there soon." Annabeth dragged herself out of bed as Isa took a dress out of the closet. When Annabeth had been pulled, yanked, pushed, and squeezed until she fit the dress, she was shoved before a mirror, her hair being twisted into a bun with a few blonde curls left to frame her face. Her dress was very plain, a shade of gray that matched her eyes… and her mood.
Annabeth marched through the corridors until she reached a huge set of oaken doors. "Introducing Princess Annabeth, to see her parents, King Frederick and Queen Athena of Sophos!" The doors were opened, and King Frederick sighed. "We know who she is Horace. You are dismissed." Horace bowed and ran out. "Annabeth, darling!" "What do you want Mother? You don't talk to me without a reason." Queen Athena sighed. "Annabeth, King Zeus has declared war on our kingdom." "What? Why?" "Apparently he believes our farmers are on Jupiter soil. I know it sounds stupid, but he is very upset." King Frederick said, running a hand through his hair wearily. "Is there anything I can do?" "Well, Annie, there is one thing." Annabeth immediately nodded. "I'll do anything."
Queen Athena looked at the ground. "Annie, you're going to have to marry Prince Jason." Annabeth's eyes widened. "Mom! I can't! You said-" "We know we told you that you could choose, but we have no choice. You marry Prince Jason, or we go to war." Annabeth took a deep breath. "When?" "Six months." "I will do it Mother. But only because we cannot afford to go to war."
So, did you enjoy? And if you want to see Percabeth, I know. But I had to start with a slight explanation.
Goodbye, good luck, and good reading!
