I got the idea from my friend. He's a little heartbroken, so I've decided to write a fic about it.
Summary: What was Naruto's real feeling when he saw Sakura together with Sasuke?

After Sasuke came back to Konoha, Naruto felt really happy, but angry at the same time. When Naruto came back to Konoha after his training with Jiraiya, Sakura didn't cry for him. But she did cry for Sasuke. Naruto was a little jealous. When they were genins, Naruto always tried his best to impress Sakura, but Sakura ignored him and gave her attention to Sasuke.
Now, Sasuke and Sakura were together. Naruto was supposed to be happy, right? He remembered the time when the new Team Kakashi set off on their new mission, to intercept an Akatsuki spy and gather information about Sasuke. When he woke up after being unconscious, he saw that Sakura was crying. For him. Naruto was over the moon.
Everytime Naruto walked along the streets of Konoha, he always heard people talking about Sasuke and Sakura. He wished that he was Sasuke, so that everyone would talk about him and Sakura. Naruto's being a good friend, but could he be a little selfish? He wanted Sakura. He loved Sakura. He knew that if you really love someone, you should let him/her go. When you love someone, you want them to be happy and you'll also be happy, because you get to see his/her happy face. But why couldn't Naruto be happy?
Naruto also knew that he was too late. Before Sasuke came back to Konoha, he could tell his true feeling for her. So was it his fault for being slow? Naruto thought otherwise. Even if he did tell Sakura about his true feelings, she wouldn't accept it, because her heart belongs to Sasuke. And now, he watched as his two best friends getting married. Naruto smiled sadly at them.
If you can't be with someone you love, just be his/her friend. As long as you have a relationship with the person you love the most. Who knows, maybe someone is watching you from a far, you just don't realize it.
