Since Captain Cold was abused as a child he would never want any harm to come to a child, not even if said child was the scarlet speedster.

It started out as a normal day for Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold. He was walking down an ally when he heard some whimpering to his left, looking over he saw a very familiar red suit only smaller. Getting closer to it he noticed the kid couldn't be any older then 3 or 4.
"Hey kid, are you lost?" He tried to make his voice as soft as possible so as not to scare him. The kid looked up at him with bright green eyes filled with tears.
"I want my mommy and daddy." he whispered.
Smiling he said "Don't worry I'll see if I can help you find them. My name is Leonard, but you can call me Len or Lenny if you want."
"Ok. My name is Bartholomew, but everyone calls me Barry. Although Iris calls me Bear sometimes, but I like Barry." He smiled not seeing Leonard's eyes widen slightly.
"What's your last name Barry?" he asked to see if his hunch was correct.
"Allen"
