Part 1:Arriving On Isle Esme

"So, what do you want to do today?" Edward whispered in my ear. I cocked my head to the side and thought about it.

"Wow. You run out of things to do when you're a vampire..." I observed, smiling. Edward chuckled and readjusted his arms around my waist.

"Now you know why I'm so talented in so many categories..."

"Momma, Daddy!" Renesmee yelled, running into the room. I heard footsteps, but I didn't think they'd be coming to Edward's room. Jacob followed her into the room. He snatched Renesmee up and swung her around, then for the first time saw Edward and I. He blushed and apologized.

"Oh. Sorry. Didn't know you guys were here. Thought you were in the cottage." Renesmee kicked out of Jacob's firm grip and ran over and jumped on the bed laughing. I held onto her as did Edward. I smiled at the thought of us being a little family together. It just seemed so perfect. And Edward was worried I'd never get pregnant.

" Edward!" I exclaimed, suddenly thrilled by my burst of ideas.

"What?" He asked in a rush. I guess my outburst worried him.

"We can go to the beach today." My eyes shone with excitement. Not something you often see in a newborn's eyes. A dazzling smile filled his face and he agreed. Renesmee touched Edward and my cheek.

"Yes." We both answered in unison. The picture of a white, sandy beach under clouds and the swell of the ocean filled my head. Renesmee hadn't even been to the beach. Where had she found such a pretty picture?

"The one down in La Push." Jacob interjected, sitting down on the edge of Edward's bed.

"Mmm." Edward frowned. I snickered at his laugh.

"How fast could we get to California?" I asked, only half serious.

"Considering speeding laws. It'll be a good couple hours. Besides, it'd be too crowded." Edward looked up at me quietly.

"Oh, right." Edward sighed and leaned back on the mountains of pillows on the bed.

"I suppose we could follow the coastline from the La Push beach." Renesmee touched Edward's cheek even though he could read her mind. "How did you get these memories?" He asked, frowning.

"What?" I leaned forward, hovering above Renesmee's body. I did not like what was going on.

"She's got clear pictures of a beach. It looks sort of like of like the beach on Isle Esme."

"Could she pick up memories from us?" I asked Edward. He shrugged gracefully.

"I'm not sure."

" That's a good idea."

"Not knowing about our daughter?"

"No! About going to Isle Esme. It'd be perfect." I smiled at him. His golden eyes sparkled with excitement and love. He leaned over Renesmee's body without touching her and kissed me on the lips. I kissed back.

"Ewww!" A girly voice cried from beneath us.

"I agree with Renesmee. That's gross." Jacob muttered, scowling. He'd be so mad if he hadn't imprinted on Renesmee.

"So it's settled." Edward pulled back from the kiss and smiled. "A weekend vacation on Isle Esme."

"Yes." I agreed.

"Wait, am I going?" Jacob asked. Edward and I looked at each other.

"I thought it would be just Edward, Renesmee and I." I told Jacob solemnly. His face looked hurt.

"Bella, we're going to be gone for the entire weekend, and we might choose to stay longer. You think Renesmee will like being away from Jacob that long?" Edward looked at me pointedly. I didn't think about that.

"Fine you can come."

"Yes!" Jacob cheered.

"But she's sleeping in the bed with us." I glared at him. Jacob blushed madly and waved his hands in front of himself.

"I-I didn't- Gah!" He seemed flustered when he walked out of the room.

"I'd kill him." Edward glared daggers at the door and his hands turned into fists.

"Not if I killed him first." I joked. From downstairs, I heard Emmett's booming laughter. He seemed very please with the way the conversation had turned.

On Isle Esme

"So many good memories here." I smiled as we walked through the front door.

"Very nice indeed." Edward kissed the hollow of my ear. I pulled back to look at him with a scowl on my face. He rolled his eyes and sighed. "Well, after I got done worrying about your well-being. But you got to admit I had the right! You were black and blue!"

"I was like that during pregnancy too." I defended.

"Yeah and I was worried then as well." Edward nodded confidently. I rolled my eyes.

"You worry too much."

"Only when you were human." He corrected, grabbing my waist. I laughed and we carried our suitcases(well Edward carried)to the white room in the back. Jacob would take the blue room. I unlocked my suitcase and started putting clothing in to drawers. We probably would be staying here for more than a couple of days. Edward came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What are you thinking?" He whispered.

"How much fun this'll be." I smiled and looked into the mirror attached to the dresser. Edward looked up and smiled too.

"First family vacation." He murmured. I smiled.

"And you were worried you'd never bless me with kids." His smile disappeared.

"I almost lost you though."

"I'm still here," I reminded him. "I'm starting to think I have a gift to avoid death."

"Ah! But you didn't avoid death, because you were changed as soon as you gave birth, so technically-"

"Alright! Alright! No need to get into the technicalities..." I held up my hands to stop him. He chuckled briefly. Heavy footsteps were making their way down to this room as Edward and I joked lightly. Both Edward and I turned when Jacob came in.

"What happened to the bed frame in the room I'm staying in?" Jacob asked, hitching a thumb over his shoulder to indicate the blue room down the hall. Edward and I slowly turned our heads to look at each other and I had to use my hand to stifle a laugh. Edward bit his lip, trying to laugh as well. Jacob frowned and didn't catch on.

"What's so funny?" He asked.

"The accident that led up to the breaking of that frame." Edward said through his laughter. I hit him on the arm.

"You think of it as an accident?!" I yelled.

"Ow! Bella no!" Edward was rubbing his arm and wincing.

"Uh…I'm…still…lost." Jacob said.

"During sex Edward lost control!" I snapped at Jacob. Edward looked away as if embarrassed. Jacob's eyes widened.

"I'm…just…gonna…go down to the…beach with Renesmee." He backed slowly out of the room.

"Maybe we should go down to the beach too. That is the reason why we came here." I agreed.

"Yeah." Edward muttered. "Did you have to tell him?"

"He would have eventually figured it out."

"I have to disagree." I looked at Edward with annoyed eyes.

"He's not in love with me anymore so you can stop insulting him."

"Yeah, now it's worse. He's in love with my daughter." Edward grabbed a swimsuit and walked into the bathroom.
