You give me hope
To help me cope,
And strength, and courage too,
All of these you give to me,
With everything you do.
Just one look,
That's all it took,
Though first, I did not think it true,
Now, it's clear, that for me,
The only one is you.
Though at first I did not love you,
Now, I know it's true,
And now, when I look at you,
No longer do I feel blue.
The strength you give me,
Helps me to be,
The person that I am,
And the courage that you give,
Helps me to live,
Through each passing day.
You may not know what you do for me,
And you may not ever see,
That everything you give to me,
Helps me to be.
I do not know if you feel the same,
But my heart I cannot tame,
