Do you know what happened around here?

I opened my eyes. Ouch. The sun sure stung.

I looked at my side and no one was there. He's gone, remember?

I walked to the kitchen after shower, I opened the fridge. Tomatoes were on the bottom row… of course, he was not here anymore. He's gone, remember?

I finished breakfast and walked toward Tsunade-sama's office to report.

People would give me sad or pitied looks. It's because he's no longer around, right? Right.

Tsunade-sama gave me my duty and an A-rank mission. I swore she gave me a pitied look before I closed the door.

Let's go to Ichiraku first, Naruto must be there. I need him to make me forget him. Huh? That's odd. He's not here.

"Oji-san, where's Naruto?"

The owner gave me a look and sighed.

"Try the training ground."

Oh. Of course, he must be there. I thanked the owned and walked toward the training ground.

And he's there alright, Naruto was training with Hinata. Oh well, better not disturb him.

"Sakura-chan!" Or maybe he'll stop by himself.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Not much. Got a mission, huh?"

"Yeah, it's gonna be a big day."

"Well, good luck!"

"Thanks."

I walked away. I swore I could saw Naruto blurring for a second there.

"Sakura." Hinata this time?

"Yeah?"

"Move on."

"I know." I smiled.

"Wha—" she looked confused. Of course she is, I didn't even know what she'd talked about.

Oh well, here goes. I need to finish the mission.

"Sakura."

"Yes Ino?" I took the bandage and put it on Shikamaru's arm. He fainted.

"You know he's gone right?"

"'Course I do, my bed's empty, isn't it?"

"No."

"No?" What is she talking about? Why am I afraid?

"I don't mean him, I meant…"

"I... no." Shikamaru stuttered.

"Shikamaru!" Ino was relieved. Thank goodness Shikamaru's alright.

"I gotta go now."

"Huh? Sakura, wait. You have to face—"

But I slammed the door behind me already.

You realized how the stars were always up there in the sky. Somehow it was not there today. Or maybe it's been everyday…

I sighed and looked at the stones. And then I smiled.

Of course I knew what all of them been doing at me. They're judging me, pitying me. Why?

Isn't it obvious? Since the very beginning it's been obvious… I'm all alone now.

I knelt and looked at the carvings.

"Don't look like that, it's sad you know."

"Sheesh Naruto, I'm having a sad time now. Go away."

"I can't, remember?"

Oh. Right… of course I do.

"Well, you will now." I looked at him and smiled my best. And then he smiled back and he was gone.

"He was easy, wasn't he?"

"Not you too, Sasuke-kun."

"What about me though?" he smiled my favorite smile.

"What about you?"

"Are you letting me go?"

"Do you want to?"

Then he looked sad, his eyes were lifeless but I knew he was sad.

"I do, actually." He muttered. "I can't stay here forever."

"I know." I smiled. I kissed him again and again until he was finally gone.

Now you know don't you?

I got my best-friend.

And I lost him.

I got my fiancée.

And I lost him.

I got no one now.

I hope I don't lose this one.

How long has it been? How long has it been since the stars were no longer up there?

It's been forever?

Yeah. Sure feel like it.
