The New Beginning
I woke up in a new area, miners and poor people roam the street. "Where are we?" I asked Annabeth. "I don't know Percy, the last I remember is fighting the Giants and one of them summon a void which sucked us in," Annabeth replied. She and I walked around with no money and when we asked where is this they replied with District 12 as that is supposed to make sense. We went out of the barbed wire, which is easily seen as not charged and there is a hidden area where a small hole, that can only fit the size of a 13-year-old. We roamed the woods and killed some animals, luckily Annabeth still have her darkon Sword Damasen gave her and my Riptide still works. A few whiles later an arrow flew past us, with our demigod reflex we were able to dodge it but with some difficulties. "Who is there? Why did you attack us we mean no harm, just lost here." I yelled out. Annabeth rolled her eyes but then went to a striking pose as a girl jumped down a tree with a bow aimed at us. "Who are you guys? Why are you out here, I never seen you two. How old are you? You two looks around the age of 17-18." The girl with long brown hair asked quickly without lowering her drawn bow. Annabeth lowered her sword and answered with "Hello I am Annabeth Chase and this is Percy Jackson, we arrived today from another universe, long story and we are 17 years old. Please lower your bow, I promise we don't harm you." It took awhile for the girl to trust us, but she introduces herself as Katniss Everdeen and she is 17 as well. She explained the system of this district and explained that each district has a major role in this Society ruled by a President called snow. It was confusing at first but a few days later living in the woods made us get comfortable living in the condition. We had to hide from society because our clothes were different and everyone will suspect us, therefore, throwing us to the capitol. Katniss and I became great friends later on.
