Disclaimer: whoa, I'm off with the angst again! Sorry, if it's not your cup a tea. And, as usual, I own nothing. I wish I did, but, woe is moi. Sorry it's so bloody short. I can't bring myself to write more.

The sky was dark, a beautiful dark, endless blue velvet with spots of glitter lighting it up. Everyone was inside, laughing and smiling, creating their own sunlight. The grounds were bare, no sign of life showing anywhere, silent shadows grasping for each other. The lake stood still, slight ripples kissing the shore in promise to return. A pale face reflected upon the surface of the romantic lake, drops of tears becoming one with exotic water.

A delicate hand stirred the water, the reflection dispersing upon contact. A soft smile graced the lips of the silhouette. Gently, a bare foot slipped into the unpromising liquid. The figure slowly lowered its legs into the chilly water before completely submerging its lower half. The lake seemed to go no for an eternity, the pale legs reaching no bottom.

Cautiously, the body slipped into the water, one hand grasping the ledge of the stone ledge. The head lowered into the pool, golden hair reluctantly leaving the surface behind. The hand, the only thing keeping the figure up, slowly let go of its grip, slithering into the water ominously.

A strong hand seized the pale one, pulling the boy away from the elegant beauty, named death.
