"Girlfriend" by Avril Lavinge blared out of her car stereo. She was setting in the parking lot at Tree Hill High, watching all the students make their way inside. Brooke Davis passes before her car, without so much as a glance her way. Brooke's arm is wrapped loosely around a black headed young man by the name of Chase Adams. Brooke laughs at something chase says, and he playfully pushes her before pulling her back to him and kissing her. Lucas Scott and Payton Sawyer are the next to catch her attention. They stand wrapped in each others arms. Her head laying on his shoulder. Lucas kisses the top of Payton's head ever so gently. The song on the stereo changes to "Stand Still, Look Pretty" by The Wreckers. Nathan and Haley pass in font of Payton and Lucas. They are holding hands, as Haley's other hand rests atop her large obviously pregnant belly. The only married couple at Tree hill High is expecting a child in only a few short weeks. Eyes, other then her own, follow the young couple. Rumors of point shaving are just beginning. Trouble will soon begin for the young parents to be. But not today. Someone skips past the car. Skills soon follows laughing as he watches the blond stop and put her hands on her hips. Always happy is just one way to describe Bevin. Although there are many others. Skills is a typical nice guy. Nothing stands out until you look under the dark skin. That's when you find the guy looking for his way out, and he found it, basketball. Taking Lucas's place on the team. Which turned out to be his ticket to college, and he holds tight to it. She watches as Skills and Bevin make it to the door. Bevin chatting happily as Skills listens intently. Mouth then catches her eye. Geek in a word, but sweet. He is shy and carrying and genuine. Unlike so many guy today. Mouth doesn't fit with any one group. Perhaps undefined. He's still exploring the person he is. Finding who his is. She watches as a redhead approaches, earning a smile from Mouth. Some called Rachel a tramp, but she wasn't exactly. Bitch is a built in trait Something dating back to before the new body. It was how she coped and oddly enough it was what gave her the strength to have the surgery. The names she was called, the laughs, the gesters, they all build this hard exterior. But underneath is a heart. It's a matter of breaking down the walls she's put up. And Mouth may very well be that person. The song again changes and a slow smile crosses her face as "Angel" by Shaggy begins. She thinks how ironic it is that this song should play at this moment. Knowing this group has seen it's fair share of trouble. Breakups, makeups, deaths, lives, and yet they had made it. She had no doubt they would always stay friends, they would make it. She cuts the car off and opens her door. Preparing for another invisible day at Tree Hill High.
