The moon was at its highest point in the night sky, bestowing a very dim light upon the land. It was already past the time when all the good little boys and girls should be in bed. The swaying of the trees and rustling of leaves could be heard on account of the wind. In the pale light, a cloaked figure could be seen making his upon a small hill outside of the land. As the stranger took of his hood, you could see that his sea, blue hair landed right above his shoulders. A red tattoo was on the left side of his face, half of the tattoo right above the eye and the other half below.
The blue haired man looked around before sitting down on the soft grass and leaning against a tree. He gazed at the moon, admiring its beauty, but there was someone else more beautiful in his eyes. He observed his soundings and noticed you could see all the way out to the city. It was a magnificent view. As he laid his head back on the tree, a number of thoughts ran through his mind, but most were about a certain redhead. How he had come to love her and cherish her. How he wanted to hold her and kiss her.
She had taught him not to live in past and to forgive. He wouldn't know where he would be without her. He still remembers what she had said to him.
"Being alive is a sign of strength! You're not the same Jellal as before! Not the one who struggled to survive!"
Jellal chuckled and shook his head. No... He wasn't the same Jellal as before... Now he had something to live for. He would live and fight for her. He would show her how much she meant to him, and never let her go. He won't make the same mistakes as before. He would make sure he wouldn't hurt her; after all she meant the world to him.
"Erza... Wait for me..." Jellal whispered.
He wouldn't fail... Not now, not ever again. Just being with her made his heart beat faster. She was the only person to have this effect on him, and he would make sure that he had the same effect on her. Nothing could stop him from achieving his goal. He would tell her he loved her once and for all. Even if she refused, he wouldn't give up on her. More like, he couldn't give up on her. Erza Scarlet was his entire world and he couldn't live without her.
The wind blew faster causing Jellal to shiver and pull his cloak closer to him. It was already pretty late, but the blue haired mage decided to stay longer and just... rest. He closed his eyes and took in the peacefulness. He knew it wouldn't last for long as the Magic Council was looking for him. But that didn't matter right now.
"I'll come for you Erza..." Jellal opened his eyes and smiled.
"I promise!"
