Battling since birth

Sorry it's late! It's just an angsty little character study, but it took longer than I thought.
Somewhere deep within the psyche of Sam Winchester, a conflict had existed for almost as long as he had, his soul tirelessly grappled with an unknown evil. For many years, he wasn't even aware that such a battle was taking place.
Since he was six months old, he had been manipulated by things he didn't even know existed at the time. Killing his mother and infecting him triggered a domino effect that shaped Sam's life in ways nothing else ever could.
Good vs Evil…no kid should have to fight such a battle, but demons don't care about things like childhood.
