Comfort
An intimate moment between my fave prjf pairing. Here goes nothing… R/R please?
Casey woke with a start, hearing his mate cry out at his side. Instantly alert, his brown eyes darted round the room, finding nothing amiss. Looking closer at RJ, he noticed a tear fall from the other man's eye.
Casey sighed. He knew that it had to be another nightmare. RJ had been having them on and off since he had lost control of his animal spirit for a second time. Casey did not know what these dreams were about, but he was always there to help comfort his mate when he needed him.
No-one else had ever seen the master in such a vulnerable state, he would never tell a soul of the torments his lover went through most nights.
Casey slowly sat up and shifted positions. He slid an arm beneath the body of his lover and pulled him into a gentle embrace, feeling the trembling subside slightly. He placed gentle kisses across the other man's jaw line, moving hands across his back, reassuring his mate that everything was ok, feeling the other calm as he did so.
RJ's eyes snapped open and his green eyes met Casey's brown ones. His arms came around Casey and he pulled him close with a sigh. Their lips met and they began to kiss deeply and passionately, communicating with their bodies all that words could not say.
"C, Casey," RJ whispered,
"Hmm?" Casey's hand traced a pattern on Rj's back. "I, I," RJ hesitated, not sure how to phrase the thoughts going through his mind. He wanted to say how much Casey meant to him, how much he appreciated Casey being there and not telling anyone of his dreams.
Casey's lips travelled down his neck, finding his collarbone. RJ moaned slightly as his own hands found his lover's waist. "Uh, thank you." Casey smiled against his mate's neck. "Its ok, I'm always here"
As their lips met once more, both had thoughts only of the other as they drifted back to sleep rapped in each others arms. RJ safe in the knowledge that his love would be there when he awakened, Casey knowing that RJ would not have anymore nightmares at least for tonight.
