Princess Ami of Mercury had been surprised, to say the least, on the first night a rare purple rose appeared on her pillow. The second night she was wary of the flower; it worried her slightly that someone could enter her room without anyone's knowledge.
When the flowers kept appearing, she eventually grew used to it. She began placing the beautiful flowers in a vase.
On night twelve, Princess Ami was surprised to find General Zoisite of Earth sitting on her bed, a purple rose in his gloved hand.
"A dozen roses for the most beautiful woman on Mercury."
