Snow
Ryoma's about as enthusiastic here as I was when it iced while I was on vacation. -Rin
Momoshiro Takeshi and his boyfriend, Echizen Ryoma, were out walking in the snow, clouds of warm breath swirling around their faces. Momo was enjoying the otherworldly beauty the snow lent to everything it covered, but Ryoma was just complaining.
"I could be taking a nice warm bath right now, you know." Momo nodded, only half-listening. Sometimes the younger boy just wasn't in the mood to appreciate things like this.
"Here, Ryoma, look at this." Momo pointed to the fence around a tennis court they were walking past. Little crystals of ice had formed in the holes, blocking their view of the court. Ryoma merely grunted in reply, and Momo stuck his finger through one of the links in the fence, breaking the ice off so he could see through.
"Woah, there's ice all over this court! Look, Ryoma." Ryoma had cleared the snow off of a bench and sat down. Momo went over to the bench and sat next to him.
"C'mon, what's wrong?" He put an arm around the smaller boy.
"It's too cold. My hands are numb." Momo took his arm off of Ryoma's shoulders and grabbed his hand.
"I'll hold your hand, will that be better?" Ryoma nodded and allowed Momo to pull him up from the bench. They continued their walk, with Ryoma still less than enthusiastic. Momo attempted to remedy that after finding a vending machine.
"The vending machine looks cool covered in snow, right? I'll get you a Ponta." He put his money in and the machine spit out an orange can, which he handed to Ryoma.
"There you go." He took Ryoma's hand again.
"I can't feel my face." Ryoma let go of Momo's hand and touched his nose, frowning. Momo raised an eyebrow, then leaned in and kissed him for several minutes.
"Better?" He asked, grinning, when they finally pulled apart. Ryoma pulled his cap down to hide his face and opened his Ponta. Momo laughed and grabbed Ryoma's hand again. As they continued their walk, Ryoma grew less irritable, even enjoying himself. Then Momo had an idea, looking at the snow-covered trees.
"Ooh, Ryoma, come over here!" Momo tugged on Ryoma's hand, pulling him underneath the trees.
"Here, look at the bark right there." He pointed, and Ryoma tried to figure out what he was supposed to see in the bark. Suddenly Momo grabbed a thick tree branch and shook it violently, making all the snow on the tree fall onto himself and Ryoma.
Momo grinned at Ryoma's irritation, hopping out of the way when Ryoma tried to smack him.
"Catch me if you can!" He ran backwards, watching Ryoma until he started following angrily.
"MOMO!"
