Ietsuna Sawada grimaced at the sight of blood on his twin brother's hands; his X-gloves were drenched in the enemy's blood and his suit was torn in many places as a couple of smudges of red came visible from his right shoulder and stomach.
"Tsuna-nii!" Ietsuna shouted worriedly as the older twin, Tsunayoshi Sawada, looked at him with softened eyes from above his shoulder. "Are you alright, Tsuna-nii?!"
He chuckled as his golden eyes turned into a deeper shade of gold; "I'm fine Ie-kun," he let his shoulders relax, "you worry too much."
Ietsuna shook his head as he came closer to him, jumping a few places so he wouldn't step on the bodies from the enemy's side and threw his arms upward when his brother was in front of him.
"B–but you are drenched in the enemy's blood, Tsuna-nii!" He shouted, "a–and your shoulder and stomach are wounded! W–we need to get you to a doctor!"
Tsunayoshi smiled fondly as he coughed and spots of red covered his gloves while Ietsuna stared in horror.
"Ts–Tsuna-nii!"
When Ietsuna was about drag him away from the battle field—fearing the wound might become worse there—Tsunayoshi put a hand to stop him and shook his head.
"I'm okay Ie-kun," he said with a wary smile, "but I'm more worried if you don't get out of here right now."
"I mean, what if some of the enemy are still here? I don't want you to get hurt from this."
Ietsuna gritted his teeth as he slapped his brother on the face and Tsunayoshi looked at him in shock.
"I don't care if the enemy's still here!" he shouted angrily, "all I care about is my older twin brother getting proper treatments for his wounds!"
"You can fight all you want for who knows long, but not with a broken body! And for Kami's sake, I can defend myself perfectly, Tsuna-nii!"
The brunet's face flushed red from his sudden outburst and now panting heavily from the lack of oxygen; while his brother blinked then smiled fondly at him.
"You're right, Ie-kun;" he said, patting his bloody pants with his normal X-gloves, "the war and battle can wait."
Tsunayoshi grinned as he slung his left arm—the one with the unwounded shoulder—to Ietsuna's shoulder.
"Let's go home." The other brunet nodded and supported his brother's weight with his arms.
"Yeah."
I guess kaa-san was right, Ietsuna chuckled, when one is too stubborn; a good slap will always do the job.
After a minute of walking, Tsunayoshi looked upward to the sky as a small smile formed on his face.
"I'm…glad you dragged me out of there," he said, "I almost faint if you hadn't stopped me from searching for the other enemies." Ietsuna grinned at him.
"Well, that's what families are for, Tsuna-nii."
That's what families are for.
THE END
A/N: So, um, you may want to slap me for being a horrible secret Santa, Sapphire-san… well, at least I tried, right…? …right? ;w; *sulks* Err, I knew Tsuna had a grandfather named "Ietsuna", but since he has a twin, and both had the name "Tsuna" in it, I just couldn't help it…so as always, any reviews would be lovely. :D
Have a nice day.
