Jade punched the wall, growling in frustration. This was all her fault. Her girlfriend wouldn t have left if she had done better. Cat wouldn t have left if Jade had tried harder. Jade didn t try enough and now Cat was gone. Jade grabbed her scissors, stabbing them into the wall, as music blasted out of the speakers of her radio. Jade wanted to sing this to Cat. Without Cat, Jade had no one, nothing. She may have never shown it, but Jade needed Cat. She was determined to get her back, even if it killed her.

Turning off her radio as she took out her phone, she called Cat s number. Ring, ring, rin- Hello? Cat answered.

Cat! Jade replied. I. . . I know we broke up and everything, but can you please come over? Please? Jade begged, talking so fast Cat could barely understand. She could hear Cat telling her she d be over soon. As soon as Cat hung up, Jade hurried to cleaned up the mess she had made of her room. Breathing a sigh of relief that she finished before Cat came over.

In that moment, she heard the doorbell ding. Jade quickly went downstairs and opened up the door. She took in the red-head s appearance, feeling her breath being taken from her. Still as beautiful as ever, Jade thought to herself. Hi Cat, She heard herself mumbling. Cat nodded as the two went upstairs to Jade s room.

Why d you want me to come over? Cat murmured, a sad look on her face. Jade wanted to wrap her arms around the smaller girl, kiss her and comfort her, but she knew that she couldn t.

I wanted to sing you something. . . . Jade said, nodding. Cat nodded back, mumbling a go.

To my ray of sunshine,

you're the only thing that gets me by,

and when I think of you,

I know in my heart that I never tried from the start

These feelings I have for you,

will never fade away

I just can't be without you

So this is the day, you'll hear me say

I was wrong, all along.

Now I'm tryin' to change

and I'm finally starting to see

It's my fault

That you're gone

and this is my apology.

I remember the first time,

that I looked into your eyes

I couldn't believe you were mine

now I'm empty inside,

how could I leave you behind?

These feelings I have for you,

will never fade away

I just can't be without you

Now I realize that I wasn't right

I was wrong, all along.

Now I'm tryin' to change

and I'm finally starting to see

It's my fault

That you're gone

and this is my apology.

Now I know, how things should be

I'll do anything,

you mean everything to me.

Please give me one more chance

to be with you again

I was wrong, all along.

Now I'm tryin' to change

and I'm finally starting to see

It's my fault

That you're gone

and this is my apology.

I was wrong.

Now I'm tryin' to say

That I'm sorry,

can you forgive me?

It's my fault

That you're gone

and this is my apology.

To my ray of sunshine, this is my apology

Cat looked shock, to say the least. Oh, Jade. . . She breathed. I ll take you back, if you try harder. You need to be nicer and less cold, okay? She said, looking at the brunette.

Jade nodded before wrapping her arms around the red-head and kissing her. I promise. I ll do better, She whispered, and she meant it. She would do better. She loved Cat and she wasn t going to lose her again. She d go to a fucking therapist (in which she deeply hated them) if she needed to. Anything to keep Cat with her.

She did change, just like she said. In the years to come, Jade was a much nicer person. Still a very sarcastic, smartass person, but not as mean. She changed for Cat, and only Cat, like she had said. The two had a very long, happy life together. Neither of them would ve changed those years for the world.
