Always and Forever: Walking Dead

::

He was the father-figure of the the group, the one that always tried to keep the peace between all. No one dared argue with Dale, and even if they did it wasn't their intention;

Dale was the kindest, and yet the strong 'don't push me around' kind of man, for his age anyway. He always did what was right and everyone loved him for that, especially Andrea. She and Dale were very close, almost like father and daughter, but there was almost a tiny bit more than that; weird feelings eventually did take over you and cause you to fall for someone you never would in real life but that was the apocalypse and Andrea thought she had fallen a bit for Dale.

It wasn't right, no, because of the age gap, and their father/daughter relationship but even he knew there was something more than that.

The very night no one ever think they'd lose Dale was the night Andrea admitted her feelings for him. She shared them with him and he returned them with a sweet embrace. "Thank you Dale, for always being here," her arms fell tight around his waist and she buried her nose in to the corner of his neck, tears soaking in to the material of his shirt.

Dale later pulled back and wiped her tears away; Andrea touched his hand and smiled as the warmth of his palm flooded her cheek with so much happiness, so much joy and love and that was when she was pulled in for a kiss.

Her blue eyes went wide at the sweet contact, and the prickliness of his beard made her giggle. It wasn't a long enough kiss but no one else was around so it was perfectly alright. The spark between them was more than just a spark, it was more like a wild flame that burned to the very pit of their souls, and the flame was so powerful they eventually felt as one, like they knew it was meant to be. But that kiss, those sweet stares and cute giggles were the last that Dale was ever going to see, ever hear; as they said goodbye to another piece of the family, Andrea couldn't bare the pain, no one could, they all needed each other in these hard times.

.

Days after his death, Andrea did all she could to keep him in her heart but she caught herself crying a lot almost every day, in the alone time she did have. It was hard, so very hard for her to get over it. She had lost her sister and now Dale, god it was so hard!

E/N: The end to a sweet yet very sad story, I always did like Andrea and Dale more than friends and father/daughter, but nothing very crazy of course, nothing but romance I loved about them! Thanks for reading
