Theme #1 – The First Snow Seen
I.
She sees snow for the first time when Hitsugaya performed his ban-kai. Ice and snow filled the air; her breath came out as white mist, and she began to shake – from the cold, from the snow, from excitement.
Snow was beautiful, and she couldn't help but start running around, leaving her tracks in the snow, marking her place as if she meant something.
His hair is as white as the snow he makes.
II.
It's cold in the room as she lies dying, her blood pooled around her body, and her head on the cold ground. She sees the ice dragon Hyourinmaru and thinks back to the first time he made it snow.
Beautiful. Cold.
She's dying.
III.
Hitsugaya struggles to get a hold of his emotions (Aizen must die. Aizen must die. Aizen must die.) Hinamori should never look so out of life, so pale (the clock is ticking, he thinks. She's dying.)
He pulls out his Soul-Cutter.
"Daiguren Hyourinmaru!"
IV.
She sees snow as she lies dying. And she thanks her Hitsugaya-kun for sending her off with something beautiful.
Hitsugaya-kun…
She feels a hand grasp hers small, cold hands and she struggles to hold on to her consciousness.
"Don't die on me," she heard his voice whispers hoarsely. "Bed-wetter Momo."
And she cries.
V.
She wakes up one morning, and she finds a note attached to the window. Standing weakly, she walks to the window and reads the note.
Look outside.
Throwing the window wide open, a blast of cold air rushes into the room, and she feels alive (It's cold, and fresh, and so very refreshing.)
The snow whirls around, and she can hear Unohana-taichou walking down the hall, talking to someone.
"She's not well enough for the cold."
"She's fine," she hears him say, and she turns to face the two captains. He stands before her, that ever constant smirk on his face.
She smiles, and runs up and hugs him tightly. He pats her on the back lightly.
No words are needed. She appreciates the fact that he tried to cheer her up.
And he is thankful she's alive because she does mean something (everything) to him.
