High school was hell, but it was finally over. Four long years of drama filled hell. Now, Kagome Hiragushi was in college. Even though she thought her life was still continuing, it was just starting over. Her life as the kind, caring, sweet Kagome was over. And the new Kagome was just beginning.

Graduation and summer break came and went. She had a nice little summer job, that paid fairly well at that. She didn't really need the money; her parents were paying for college, and everything that went along with it. It's a late graduation gift; she already had a car, because she herself bought it. A nice little red sports car. No one touched the car, without permission.

So off to college Kagome went, and she thought that drama was over, and everyone was mature. Fat chance, everyone was the same as they were. Forever the shallow girls and the stupid jock boys. The same cliques, everywhere. Kagome's sweet innocence and ignorance was complete bliss, in her eyes at least, well, for the time being.

But, the sweet, child-like innocence would fade, and the ignorance would as well. She would become cold, and ruthless. Someday, someday soon. Her life would completely stop, and she would be herself, but she wasn't herself. Would she stay like that forever? Possibly, but no one knows her future but herself. Because Kagome would re-create her future, no matter the cost.

She always thought she'd be the best at everything. Turns out, she was the worst at nothing. She took on too many classes, and started to fall behind. She stopped going to class for awhile, and no one noticed. That's what changed her, because she stopped being the best, and started to fail. She started to lose her grip on life, and lost everything. Then, she just gave up. She gave up and enjoyed failing. She was now free, free to do anything because she had nothing. Failure equals freedom. She enjoyed the freedom, so she continued to fail. She accepted that this was how it was going to be, and stopped trying so hard. She failed at everything, which lead her to excel at nothing.
