This went from kind of angsty to crack in less than two minutes. Hopefully I find time to rewrite it. ._.
When Damon sees Stefan, broken and bleeding in that house, he loses it. He's ready to kill and keep killing and rip people apart(because it's his brother, it's his Stefan, and he's supposed to protect him).
But he doesn't.
He knows that he can't enter the house, not with that stupid woman still alive, so he enlists the help of the one person who can help. Alaric.
Not that he likes working with the guy. Damon murdered his wife so the situation's awkward at best, but the kicker is when Elena thinks she's going to help. Of course he tells her no. She's just going to be a distraction and all Damon wants to focus on is StefanStefanStefan.
He has only two goals in this mission. Rescue Stefan and kill everyone in the house. However, there are variations on the plan. Damon could rescue Stefan, kill everyone and then push Stefan down and have sex with him in their blood while Elena dies quietly in the corner.
But somehow he doesn't think Stefan will go for that. . .Stupid Elena.
Damon never makes plans. So when he does, he likes to follow them to a T because otherwise it's not really a plan. Which is why he's so pissed when Elena decides to play the hero, er, heroine. She runs in and Stefan is so concerned with her that he doesn't pay any attention to Damon or his own state of injury.
Stupid Elena!
But Damon tries to concentrate on Stefan just being safe and okay and he has to hope that everything works out in the end.
(And by that he means, Stefan figures out that Damon's twenty times better than Elena.)
