In retrospect, inviting her cousin, Bridgette, to stay with them had been somewhat of a terrible idea as it had somehow led to her figuring out who Chat Noir was. In retrospect, introducing her cousin to Felix was even worse as it had led to her suspicions in the first place. Felix knew more about Adrien's life than Marinette did, so when he informed her about Adrien's sudden disappearances during akuma attacks, something inside her mind clicked; however, it didn't make its little presence known until Felix had run into her quite literally.

"Ouch," Marinette said as she stood rubbing her head. Felix Agreste had already picked up her books and started walking away with them. Immediately, Marinette followed him. "Where are you taking my books?"

"Blackmail."

"Why? I thought we already had a deal."

"I've told you everything I can," he said. He stopped walking when he heard someone shouting his name in the direction they were headed. Felix turned on his heel, only to find Marinette with her hands on her hips. Felix simply pulled her notebook on top and flipped it open to the middle where there was a pairing of Marinette and Agreste as well as doodles of hearts and possible future pets. Marinette's face flushed as she started waving her hands in front of it, so no one would see.

"If you do not help me, I will show this to Adrien," Felix said.

"Okay! Okay! Just put it away!"

Felix closed the notebook as he started walking again. He went into the boy's locker room and Marinette sighed as she stood near her locker, knowing who was coming.

"Marinette!" a girl shouted at her. She had the same hair and eye color as Marinette and was even wearing the same outfit as Marinette since her clothes were being washed. Her hair was much longer than Marinette's ending at about her waist. "Have you seen Felix?"

"I think he already went to class," Marinette said. "Bridgette, why are you here? You don't have to go to school."

"I thought you knew. I'm going to be a foreign exchange student for the time being. Aunt Sabine and Uncle Tom said they would be taking me in. See you, Marinette!" Bridgette said as she bounced away to her class, leaving a confused Marinette.

"So, what'd you do this time?" Alya asked as she seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. Marinette jumped at seeing her best friend.

"What do you mean?"

"Felix holding your stuff?"

"Oh, that? Um, well, see," Marinette said as she floundered for some sort of reason. Felix walked out of the locker room towards them. He gave Marinette her stuff back before going to class.

"He was avoiding Bridgette, so he took your stuff," Alya said, hazarding a guess.

"Yeah."

"I thought he was feeding you information about Adrien."

"He said he can't tell me anymore," Marinette said.

"As in he has no more to say? Or, Adrien has secrets?"

"Secrets? I doubt Adrien has any—" Marinette stopped. A couple of days ago when Bridgette had first come, Felix had told her that Adrien often disappeared during akuma attacks. Felix said they're always together until Adrien finds a way to leave to go do…something? Marinette tended to do the same thing—making sure that her friends are somewhat safe before going to transform…does that mean…no…but maybe…no…

The photo of Adrien Alya showed her with her scribbles of Adrien dressed as Chat Noir popped in her head as did the time when he was dressed as Chat Noir for the music video sans mask. Now that she thought about it, he had also been hesitant to put on the black mask. Had she been in such denial that such a possibility would escape her?

"Marinette? Marinette!" Alya shouted.

However, Marinette has crashed due to overload of information.

A.N: It's been a long time since I posted anything. I was just going through stuff and found this little one-shot I wrote. Writing's sub-par, but it's cute and I thought, what the heck?
