My first storyThis little piece came to mind, as I was watching the episode 'the Grey Team' and since the whole concept of the A-Team were not to take a life, I thought about Face's question to Hannibal as they watched the two men on the boat. Please read and tell me what you think. I haven't had a chance to have a serious in depth look at grammar and so on,so please be kind. Enjoy.
Yes. He was ready and he could take the shot - if it comes down to it. The only question is. "Will he take the shot?" After All these years, could he really kill again? Take a life? He is a soldier. First and foremost. A good one. He has a team, men following him, following his orders regardless of what they may be.
Hell! He even has a civilian under his wing. And yes, Frankie has come a long way from the glitz - and - glamour, the Hollywood – in - his - eyes special effects man. He has seen some pretty bad things with them. Done pretty bad things too. The boy has potential, he can't deny that.
And Murdock? He always knew there was more to that pilot than meets the eye, strange how he became sane after so many years, so quickly. Okay, maybe not that strange at all.
And then there's BA and Face. Been with him through it all, hard times. Good times and all in between. Even under Stockwell, they still would rather listen to him than the General.
Like usual, with all their cases, the innocent is on the line here. A girl, a teenager who thought her dad was a traitor.
So the question is, if needs be, will he; John Hannibal Smith, take the shot?
