Enter the Holy Land

A/N Review Please! This is an Assassin's Creed/Kingdom of Heaven crossover. I'm not sure what crusades Balian was in but this takes place during the third crusades, oh and the king is Guy (He's not dead yet)

Prologue…

Reynald was strolling in the midnight. He was happily enjoying his defeat of the Saracens. It had been a while since the second crusades and was now in the third crusades. Balian had not gone home, probably waiting for him to die so he could spit on his grave. He didn't know why he didn't leave. He said things about unfinished wishes of his father. He kept strolling, he came into view of 2 knights. He knew one was Balian as he started walking over. Suddenly he felt a pain in his neck as the metallic taste of blood filled his neck. The last thing he saw was a man in a white robe just like the monks covering his eyes and the knights charging. The first knight was taken down easy. Balian put up a fight but soon surrendered. He looked at the man about to land the killing blow.

"Wait!" He said. The man stopped looking at him.

"I wish to thank you, I hated Reynald with all my life, and If I may, can I join you?" He asked, happiness filling his eyes for the first time since he last saw his wife, which was over a year ago. The man seamed to think for a while. Finally he nodded.

"Yes, but you may not question me on who I am or what I do but only accept it, now I will tell you one thing, I am a Hashshashin…" (The Original Assassin's) Balian looked surprised. "I am going to be killing many men. You are to help with distractions and escapes. Is that understood?" He questioned.

"Yes, But may I ask one question?" Balian asked with the sound of pleading in his voice. The man looked at him and after a brief moment nodded.

"What is your name, Kind sir?"

The man looked down, and then back up, taking off his hood to reveal black hair and dark brown eyes with a beard. Not a thick beard, but one just like Balian's.

"Altaïr." The man responded, putting his hood back on. Balian nodded and then told him his name.

"Balian, pleasure to meet you." And with that they took off on two horses. Ridding to a new land.
