So... It's been quite some time since I posted anything. I know this won't make up for it, but I wanted to at least post something new. Sorry that it's super short and kinda sad.
Also, I don't own Hetalia at all.
"I only dated you so I could get close to your brother. I didn't want you. Nobody wants you. Even your own name says 'nada'. Nothing. Zilch. Zero. Zip. So I suggest you zip your lips and quit the shit because you're nobody. No matter how hard you try. You're the one that no one cares about because you're. nothing. Now get out of my sight. Oh look. …You already disappeared." He brushed past and marched away. As soon as he could no longer see the man whose heart he had just wrenched in two, the hurt feelings flooded his face. Salt water stabbed at the corners of his amethyst eyes, stinging as he tried to hold them back. The further he walked, the more they threatened. Upon briskly turning a corner into a snap of wind, a tear rolled down his cheek, leaving a path for the rest to follow. As he stomped swiftly through the snow, he was almost blinded by his anger, his tears, the falling crystals.
He couldn't mask his frustration.
He couldn't do this anymore.
He couldn't.
He couldn't lie to him.
He couldn't hurt such a kind person.
He couldn't pretend to not enjoy his presence or take pride in the ecstatic glow that emanated from him upon simply hearing his true name.
He couldn't contain his happiness when he heard a bashful "Je t'aime" and responded with a "Ya tebya lyublyu".
He couldn't hide the fact that they were dating; he couldn't control the wildfire when it was leaked.
He couldn't stand exposing him to ridicule and being unable to retaliate because of his own foolish past.
He couldn't keep such a wonderful being from reaching his full potential.
He couldn't hold him back.
He could let him go.
He had to let him go.
It was for the best.
Definitely.
Well, thanks for reading this little thing. I hope you enjoyed it.
