Ok, so this is my first songfic, and it will not be the last. This is just the first in a hopefully large collection, but that is really up to you guys! So here we go!

Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans or the song Don't You Want Me

The song is Don't You Want Me by The Human League, and it is slightly AU.

If it is bold then it is song lyrics.

Don't You Want Me

5 years. They had been together for 5 years and then she just left. She left for bigger and better things, and she refused to see any of them. He knew why, she wanted to move on.

When he first met her, she was just a waitress in a bar with a dream. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, and he soon fell for her. He brought her out to Jump City to join his group. She was a perfect fit. They soon started dating. Everything seemed so perfect. But perfect does not last forever.

She was offered her own gig, the chance to be a big solo star. It was everything she had ever wanted and she took it without a second thought. She left everything behind, she left him behind. After a few weeks, he finally convinced her to see him. They met at a small cafe in town so they could talk in peace. After about 10 minuets of awkward silence he finally spoke up.

You were working as waitress in a cocktail bar, when I met you

I picked you out, I shook you up, and turned you around,

turned you into someone new.

Now five years later on you've got the world at your feet,

success has been so easy for you.

But don't for get it's me who put you where you are now,

and I can put you back there too.

Don't, don't you want me,

you know I can't believe it when I hear that you won't see me.

Don't, don't you want me,

You know I don't believe you when you say that you don't need me.

It's much too late to find, do you think you'd change your mind,

you better change it back or we will both be sorry.

Don't you want be baby, don't you want me, o-o-o-oh

Don't you want me baby, don't you want me, o-o-o-oh.

Her reply was short and simple, and he had only one thing to say.

I was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, that much is true,

but even then I knew I'd find a much better place, either with or without you.

The five years we have had have been such good times, I still love you.

But now I think it's time I live my life on my own,

I guess it's just what I must do.

After hearing this she could not stand it anymore. She stood up, threw some cash on the table for the check, and left him there. He knew that this time she was leaving for the last time. He sat there for a few more silent moments, thinking before getting up. He walked down to the bus stop and sat down on the bench. As the bus pulled up he saw her face on the side. He only mumbled a few words at this before getting on the bus to go home.

Don't you want be baby, don't you want me, o-o-o-oh

Don't you want me baby, don't you want me, o-o-o-oh.

AN: I know I did not put names in here, and that is because I want you guys to tell me who you think it is about. While writing it I had one couple in mind, but now I see it could work for a few pairings. So let me know what you guys think, okay.

Thanks all, Malingo13
