Chapter 1
'Good morning San Francisco. This is Radio 7, waking all you lazy heads up! It's 6:30am and we have lots of gossip to share with you...'
Piper Halliwell turned her alarm off and stood up, ready for school. Her high-school life wasn't as bad as her junior high life. She had a best friend, she had sophisticated glasses, she had a life.
Finally. I can see Leo again. I haven't seen him in so long! I wonder how his holiday in Egypt was. Piper thought, hitting her younger sister, Phoebe, to wake her up. She wandered into her bathroom and ran the shower.
I hope he still remembers me and wont make fun of me. You know what Missy and everyone are like. She can persuade someone very easily. She did that to me.
After her luke-warm shower, she got dressed. Her normal gear. A plain white t-shirt with a black jacket over it, Blue denim jeans with drawings near the pockets and some basic, cheap trainers. She ran down the stairs, not even attempting to wake Phoebe up again, and was making her 3 sisters and her Grams some breakfast. She stepped into the kitchen and already saw her Grams and her youngest sister, Paige, sitting down.
"Morning dear, Would you like some pancakes?" Her Grand-mother asked.
"They're really good. The best probably!" Paige said and had another bite of her chocolate sauce pancake.
"Sure." Piper said, happily and sat down next to her younger sister.
"Oh, Where is Phoebe?" Grams asked.
"Probably still in bed. She didn't wake up when I hit her to get up."
"No, I'm not! I'm right here. Ooh pancakes! "Phoebe said, getting a drink from the fridge and then sitting down next to Paige. She wore a small skirt, as usual, and sleeveless top with a shrug over it.
"You look nice darling. "Grams said, putting Piper and Phoebe's plate full of pancakes in front of them. "Do you have any idea where Prue is this morning? "
The girls exchanged smiles, knowing that she spent the night at Andy's.
"I think she slept out at her friends, Grams. "Paige shouted as Grams was down in the basement.
"But it's so unlike Prue. She would tell me if she stopped out!" Grams said, coming back up and pouring coffee.
Piper noticed a note on the fridge. She went up to look at it and handed it to Grams.
" Staying at friends tonight, don't worry. Be back around 4pm...tomorrow." Grams replied clearly so that her Granddaughter could here her. They all burst out of laughter.
I like this. I just wish Leo would hurry up and get here. I miss him and I haven't seen him in over 2 months! He's my best friend and I miss him for gods sake!
Leo was Piper's best friend. Ever since last year when they started High school. They've been together ever since.
Suddenly a car honked twice outside. Piper knew that it was Leo. It was their special sign that he was there.
"Okay, Leo's here gotta go!" Piper said getting up and closing her bag. "Love you Grams! Bye Phoebe. Bye Paige! "Piper said, she kissed her grandmother on the cheek then left the house with a bang. She went down the stairs to the house and got into Leo's Jeep.
"Hey Piper. Did you get my postcard from Egypt?" He asked, smiling.
"I sure did. It looked amazing! Did you have a good time?"
"It was awesome. Well let's go to school then!" Leo said and drove off Prescott Street.
