"Leo? Leo?" Phoebe said sprinkling his face with water. Prue had moved him to the sofa a little while before. "Huh? Wha? Where?" Leo asked; sitting bolt upright looking around him confused. He spotted Piper, who was sitting on the sofa opposite him watching him tentatively, unconsciously fiddling with her hands. He also noticed the bruising on her face. "Piper…" he said, his voice full of concern standing and quickly walking over to her and attempting to give her a comforting hug. In response, Piper gave a startled cry, pushing him away, and pulling her knees up to her chin. Leo pulled back quickly, an expression of hurt and confusion on his face. He turned to where Prue and Phoebe were standing, searching their faces for the reason for Piper's violent reaction. Prue motioned to him to come into the other room with her. She needed to fill him in on the past events. Phoebe went over and sat next to Piper, putting an arm around her older sister's shoulders. They sat in silence until Prue and Leo came back. It was obvious that Prue had told Leo what had happened for he had paled, and had a shocked expression on his face. Prue walked past Leo and sat on the opposite side of Piper, taking the middle sisters hand, and squeezing it in reassurance. Leo approached the three sisters slowly, not wanting to startle or scare Piper in any way. He sat down on the couch opposite, making direct eye contact with the person her loved most in the world. Piper studied his face carefully, searching for a long minute. At last, she breathed a sigh. Leo, the Leo she loved, was back. After eyeing eachother silently for a while, Leo held his arms out, inviting Piper into a hug. "Piper" he said quietly. Piper remained silent, looking at him for a few more moments before moving into the warm and comforting arms of her lover, who held her tight and rocked her gently. Prue and Phoebe watched this scene unfold, warm feelings for their sister and what she had achieved within herself enveloping both of them. Knowing that Piper has finally found the inner courage she had been seeking, and that as a result everything was back to normal in the Halliwell household, the lovers re-united.
