Haruhi tried to sneak up to the abandoned music room where the Host Club normally met as stealthily as possible, sneaking around campus as if she were a thief running away from the law. Despite doing nothing wrong, she did her best to not let Tamaki catch her. She just wanted to have some time to herself so she could have some quite time not focusing on her real life woes or school or the Host Club or really anything.

Tamaki had been groveling at her feet (quite pathetically, she might add) a lot more lately, begging for her attention with those puppy-like eyes of his. He wanted attention and Haruhi didn't want to give in today because she normally did give in to him and always ended up doing stupid things she regretted the next morning.

Haruhi brought out the recent book she was reading and leaned back in the comfortable pink couch that sat right in the middle of the pale colored room. She relished the quiet and was almost alarmed she could have more than five minutes alone without the Host Club interrupting her.

"Haruhi," a voice called from behind. Haruhi jumped, thinking she was going mad because it sounded just like Tamaki's.

"Are you okay?" This statement confirmed Haruhi's fear: Tamaki had followed her somehow.

"I'm fine," Haruhi responded.

"You don't sound fine!" Tamaki said.

"Leave me alone, Tamaki." She said, her words coming out harsher than intended.

"But you were gone for so long that I worried about you," he said quietly. Haruhi's features softened considerably.

"I'm sorry for worrying you. I just wanted time alone," she explained. He nodded.

"Why didn't you tell me this?" He asked.

"Because I didn't want you to follow me!"

"You could have told me not to follow you."

"You know you wouldn't have listened to me."

"That may be true but who knows what trouble my darling daughter would have gone through if it weren't for me to follow her?"

"Tamaki, do you even listen to yourself talk?" Tamaki responded with crossed arms and a pout. Haruhi checked the time and took Tamaki's hand.

"It's time for lunch, Sempai. We can go find a seat together," Haruhi said. Tamaki smiled and gladly followed Haruhi.
