I DO NOT OWN FRUITS BASKET
This is a self insertion and is not entirely full of what happened in Fruits Basket but I hope you like it please R&R.
Hi my name is Dewi Doane I'm sixteen. My hair is neck length it's black and has white and orange spots. My eyes are half red and grey. I used to live in Japan and the Sohma family were the only friends I had. When I was around eight I moved to America. And I was afraid I would never see my friends again. Until the morning of my sixteenth birthday my dad hugged me and poof! I turned into something odd. But, how could this be? All the zodiacs are born and I don't think we are related in any way.
My mom and dad agreed that it would be best if I went to talk to Akito about this. So we called him and we arranged for me to fly out to Japan. I was finally going to see my friends! Then, I thought, what if they don't recognize me? But I tried to ignore that question. About ten hours later, I landed in Japan in the middle of the night.
To my surprise, it was Hatori who was picking me up. He said, "It's been a while hasn't it?" He recognized me! "HATORI!" We hugged and then got in the car and started talking about our lives since we separated. "So, how have you been Dewi?" "I've been good. How about you?" "Me? Oh, the same as when you left, I guess." "Well, that's not a good answer." "Okay, fine. I have been doing well also. Happy?" He said in an irritated voice. "Extremely." I said, with a chuckle and a smile. "We are almost there. Are you ready to talk to Akito?" "I think I'm ready. I'm a little nervous." "Ok, I'm EXTREMELY nervous," I thought to myself, "but I don't want to tell him."
"Here we are. Be ready." He said hurriedly, so that I would get out of the car. "I think I'm ready. Take me to him." I said nervously, with a gulp. He walked me through the house to Akito's room. "Akito is in there. Just go in." I'm so scared! I remember what Akito was like when we were kids… he was so violent and mean! I opened the door and on the windowsill sat a man about nineteen or so. My heart started racing. I thought about running away, but I couldn't, because this is where I belonged. The man was Akito and he said in a soft voice "I have been waiting to see you. Your parents told me you transformed into a Chinese zodiac. Which one, might I ask?" He said curiously. "Why don't you hug me and find out." I said as a statement and a little nervously. "Okay, I will then." I'm still so scared! And, if I transform, he will see how hideous I am! And, I can also sense Hatori outside the door!. He hugged me and sure enough… POOF! With a weird cloud of smoke… "HUH?" "I know I'm hideous right?" I said, with tears in my eyes. "What exactly are you?" "Truth is, I'm part cow and I'm cursed with the cat." "Well, that's odd… and completely wrong! HATORI, GET IN HERE AND SEE THIS!" I stood as tall as the cat, but I had a cow head and hooves. I was black, white and orange. Hatori was coming in! But why? Please don't see me like this. "What is it Akito?" Hatori said worriedly. "Look at Dewi's zodiac form." He said laughing. "What? That is impossible!" exclaimed Hatori. "It's so ugly and hilarious!" "Akito, be nice! Dewi, are you alright?" "I'm fine. He speaks the truth. I'm hideous! I'm cursed with the cat, so I can't remove my beads, or else I will look even worse!" I said trembling with fear and sadness. POOF! Yes! I'm back to my human form. Now, I have to get dressed. "Dewi, where are you going to stay?" Hatori said curiously. "Truth is, I have no clue." "Would you like to stay here for the night? Tomorrow, we can get you signed up at the school that Yuki, Kyo, Hatsuharu and Momiji go to." "Ok, thank you." I said cheerfully.
