Harry Potter and the

Eternal Love

Prologue

"Are they coming?" Asked a fair little girl, her eyes wide with fear.

"Ssh," said another girl, this one older, strands of white-silver hair plastered to her clammy face.

Around the corner stood three men, each carrying a loaded Magnum 357. One, a tall dark haired man with cruel gray eyes stood with is back toward them.

"Do you see 'em?" He asked, motioning opposite direction of them.

"Naw," said a second man, the light only illuminating his salt-and-pepper hair.

Oh ,god, thought Sarah, pulling a lock of hair from her eyes, and peering into the darkness, trying to make out who it was that persuade her.

"I'm scared," said a little, rosy-cheeked girl.

"Ssh, honey," said Sarah, feeling as if the lives of these two children were held in her hands, as if they were two eggs she was handed, and expected to not break them.

I'm not even graceful with eggs, how am I supposed to take care of… the herd of men began to come their way, each holding their guns out, ready to fire.

Can they see-hear-us, Sarah thought, her heart pounding in her chest, making it hard to take a breath.

The third man, his green eyes burning like emeralds on fire, plucked up sweet, little Rose, her squeal echoed through Sarah's heart even now.

"Sissy! Help me!" Tears flooded out of Sarah's eyes as she approached the big, scarlet and gold train.

"I will, I will," she whispered, clutching hold of Lana's arm, her little, blonde haired sister.

"What will you do, sissy?" Asked the innocent child, twirling one of her blonde locks in her tiny fingers. "Buy me a lot of Chocolate Frogs?"

If only it were that easy, thought Sarah, pulling their trunks onto the tight, scarlet carpet, and settling herself in a deep, leather seat, Lana beside her, gazing out the window, a smile on her face as she feel peacefully asleep.

Note: I own nothing. And, yes, this DOES have to with Harry Potter; you just have not seen him yet. J
