Fun In The Sun

One sunny day, Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu were on their way to the beach on Seafoam Island to have a small vacation. They were really looking forward to this because they had been training very hard.
"How long until we get there, Brock?" Misty asked eagerly.
"It shouldn't take that much longer." Brock said.
"I can't wait to go surfing!" Ash shouted.
"Pika!" (Yeah!) Pikachu agreed.
Then they walked through a thick jungle and admired the view. Before they knew it they were at the beach. After a few seconds Ash took off excitedly and dove head first into a wave that knocked him back several feet.
"Ash!" Misty cried.
"Are you okay, Ash?" Brock shouted.
"Yeah! I'm fine!" Ash replied, jumping out of the water.Then Pikachu got his surfboard and rode a big wave all the way to the shore as the others looked on. They were very amused by Pikachu's games.
"Hey, guys! Come on in! Dinner's ready!" Brock called.
Then Ash, Misty and Pikachu ran out of the ocean to get some of Brock's delicious stew that he had made for supper. As they were eating dinner, the trio tried to decide what they were going to do the next day.
"I'm looking forward to getting up early and heading to the gym for my next badge. With Pikachu by my side I can't lose. Right Pikachu?" Ash said enthusiastically.
"Pikachu, Pikapi." (Right, Ash.)
"I'll be there to help you out too. After you win your badge we can get back to our little vacation. We haven't relaxed like this in months." Misty smiled.
"Thanks, Misty." Ash put an arm around Misty's shoulders.
"I think I'll try to find a girlfriend out of all the beautiful girls on the beach." Brock drooled as Ash and Misty rolled their eyes at him.
A little while later, the group decided that it was time for them to go to bed. They were all tired and they had a early day the next day.
"It's getting a little too late for me so I'm going to go to bed." Brock said as he climbed into his sleeping bag.
"Goodnight, Brock!" Ash and Misty said together.
"I think that Brock has the right idea. If I don't get some sleep then I'll be too wiped out to battle Mickey tomorrow. I'm going to get some rest too. Night, Misty." Ash yawned as he lay down in his sleeping bag with Pikachu.
"Goodnight, Ash." Misty said as she still sat by the campfire, holding Togepi in her arms. Before she retreated to her own sleeping bag she glanced around the campsite at Brock sleeping peacefully and Ash brushing Pikachu. Then she settled down and was soon asleep.
For a long time Ash sat looking at the stars. He was thinking about facing the gym leader, Mickey, early in the morning.
"You better watch out, Mickey, because here comes Ash Ketchum!" Ash whispered to himself as his eyes got heavy. A few minutes later he was fast asleep and dreaming of his next victory.
