Authors note: I'm like totally into Joan of Arc!!! I think her story is so sad and interesting. I hope u all enjoy this.
Prologue
In the year 1424, the ten year old, French born Jeanne D'Arc (Joan of Arc) began to hear the voice of god.
That's also around the time when she met Tamora, who later on became Jeanne's best friend.
When Jeanne was 17, the 100-year war began between England and France. Jeanne fought as a knight with Tamora by her side. Fighting together through their actions, France was saved.
After the battle, Jeanne found an injured knight, named Reiko, on the battle field. Tamora looked after him and he later on decided to live in the village.
But by the age of 19, Jeanne was suspected a witch because of her other-worldly power and was burned at the stake.
Was she betrayed by the people she saved or by the god she served? Whichever the case, her pain became affixed to her soul, where it waits to be released.
